Just got back from Cabo, enjoyed the food at hole in the wall spots more than the gourmet restaraunts. Tends to be how it usually is when I travel.Thats an awesome piece of trivia.
...and a reason that I always loved Anthony Bourdain's show(s). He eats from common street vendors and at the best restaurants in the world, and can appreciate them both. Theyre obviously distinct from each other and are different experiences, but both have a common denominator of being "good" food.
It's a really good way to live your life and appreciate things for what they are, tbh.
Then again, the experience is a big reason you go to the fancy places.
