He had just turned his life around too....
Everyone is a bunch of wackos. This shit has nothing to do with politics and that's all anyone is talking about in this thread.
I'm much more familiar with North county than with St Louis City. Everyone I grew up with and the people in my parents' generation (about 50 years old now) has more than a couple experiences with the cops being assholes who liked to flex their muscles and harass people for no reason, especially in Florissant. My experiences with the cops at my school and walking around my neighborhood in Dellwood were always pleasant, but that wasn't the case at all if I got stopped with friends in Florissant or Hazelwood.I was a Stl city cop in the old 5th District. College Hill, Desoto, E. John, etc...I don't remember working with any guys that weren't "nice" or good people. The 5th was the most violent district for years.
That's pretty shitty, but I have to wonder if the cop had some sort of PTSD or perhaps there was more than alcohol involved - you don't normally tackle and start beating little girls just because you're drunk.
Nah, there are plenty of jokes in here no need to be so serious.
A good joke would be I guess she didn't want to be a fucking fighter. Not HURR DURR the other team

Oh yeah I'm TOTALLY defending him...
So why did the Sheriff say it was a tough choice but the right one?Lol...dude, give it a rest. No one's coming to this guy's rescue. Sheriff Deputies and police aren't exactly chummy, either.
Democrat liberals -“the story assumed the gender of the 12 year old ??? I’m so mad time to block highway traffic and smash windows”Republicans - “she should’ve listened to the police. She had it coming”

Crazy that stuff like this happens, this is the actions of a psychopath if true.
You're all a bunch of cop-hating scum. I need to hear the cop's side of the story before I pass judgement. What if the girl was playing with a toy gun? What if the girl had just robbed a gas station? Or maybe she sneered at the officer and rushed him? What is the girl was big for a 12 year old and really strong? What if the girl had a screwdriver in her backpack or she disappeared into the bushes like a ninja, then reappeared and struck with extreme ferocity?
Imo, any of these conditions would make his beatdown legitimate. She's lucky he didn't shoot her where there were no witnesses, or this woulda been justified.

I hope this guy gets attempted murder charge or manslaughter, because the way he kept punching the 12 year old girl could have killed her or left her with serious lifetime brain damage.
------------
Incident took place at a BBQ in Austin Texas
- The Deputy - mentioned as a detective by the restaurant's manager- was with his daughter and her boyfriend.
- A dog came by their area, at which time the deputy picked the dog up , petted it and put it back down.
- A 12 year old girl then came around and started to play with the dog
- The deputy reacts to the girl in the following manner: " But when the 12-year-old girl began playing with the dog, the deputy allegedly jumped from his seat, tackled the girl and began punching her in the face again and again, police say, according to KXAN. "
- The girl's stepdad says this: ' “I seen him on top of her, he was hammer-fisting her, it was like UFC style,” Russell Cope, the victim’s step-dad, told Fox 26.'
- Stepdad was punching the deputy but says it had no effect. So he then kicks him (stepdad was wearing steel toe boots) and started beating his ass. Deputy then passed out.
Police came and cuffed the deputy. Says alcohol was smelled on his breath
-----------
And here is the kicker:
The Sheriff - of the county the deputy is from - says it was a tough choice (for the police) but the right call. I assume he means it was a tough choice for the Police to arrest the deputy, due to professional courtesy?? In which case, why the eff is it a tough choice?? A guy is beating up a 12 year old girl without any justification and the Sheriff says it was a "tough choice" ?? WTF . Would he say it was a tough choice if the perp was a regular civilian?
The Sheriff fired the deputy, and says "there is a price to pay for reflecting negatively on the department" . What about price to pay for beating a young girl (or any innocent person for that matter)??
