2018 Green Bay Packers... Who needs defense?

That is frankly a huge worry for me.

Outside of Super Saiyan Daniels we have like no real true pass rush ability and even then Daniels is more of a run stopping DE than a true edge rusher the way guys like Bosa, Miller, and Mack are (just as examples)

Clay is too fucking old at this point to do very much unless other guys are blitzing and eating all the blocks and Perry is useless outside of contract years and is frankly at this stage a fucking bust and Fackrell couldn't beat a block from a fucking high school TE.

Clay is actually playing decent. Of course he isnt what he once was but Its not just all about sacks. He gets a lot of hits, pressures, tackles for a loss, etc. IMO he should be moved to the inside as the year he moved inside if I remember correctly he led all ILBs in sacks... But kinda hard with no OLB depth.

"Clay Matthews is having a good 2017 season. The sack total doesn't show it, but Matthews has been solid, recording 51 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, three passes defended, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, 12 quarterback hits and 18 quarterback pressures to go along with his 7.5 sacks."

Just watched that

Hopefully they can get Rodgers the other ring he deserves this year.

Here's to it :)

What's everyone's predictions going into the 2018 season?

At worst: 10 - 6 just barely missing the playoffs because the entire NFC, including their own division, will be too stacked.

At best: 12 - 4 Packers have good health and depth at key positions; get one of the top 2 seeds in the playoffs.

I'm going with 11 - 5 and them getting in as a Wild Card team. Only they will be much better than their record, kind of like the 2010 SB team.

Going into new England will be tough. But other than that, i favor gb in every game outside of the division. 12-4 seems pretty reasonable.

Damn, I think the young secondary will dunder things up in between making some plays too. The LB depth is nil, so Clay's yearly 6 games missed via injury is a problem. They have a ton of receivers, but most of them won't be worth a damn for 2-3 years. Jimmy Graham will have to prove he's going to play between the 20s. The O line is relying on Bryan Bulaga not to lose a leg or else it's doomsday. 12 being on the field should be able to drag out at least 8 wins.

Maybe the new coordinators will surprise me.

Going with 10-6. I feel like there's a six week stretch where five of the games are tough. SF, @RAMS, @PATS, DOLPHCANS, @Seattle, @QUEENS. Only the Miami game looks easy.

Jake Kumerow place on IR.... other moves today....

"According to Ian Rapaport of NFL Network, the Packers released cornerback Herb Waters and placed undrafted rookie wide receiver Jake Kumerow on injured reserve then signed inside linebacker Korey Toomer and, according to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, signed running back Darius Jackson off the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad."

Yeah I dont think Clay is worth his contract but hes not garbage. Same goes for Perry, at the least hes really good vs the run. The frustration from me just stems from always being injured.

I read those three are being waived actually, injury settlements. Gute boliterating the 2015 draft

Read positive things about Toomer from his Chargers tenure, doesnt seem like a bad idea at this point of the year

This is literally the last thing I saw.

Sucks, he went to college at a place I was at for a year so I'm especially interested. I DO know there was a police officer murdered in WA that was a WSU football player but that was end of July/beginning of August so I doubt that's still the issue.

Wonder if it's something similar to Haha with a family member being sick. He hasn't posted shit on his IG in awhile either.

Nothing has really been released on why he hasnt show up sadly, i dont know why they just dont say it, unless its an injury and they want to hide it possibly, i mean you even said it Ha-Ha had a family issue but he still showed up, Cole hasnt showed up other then to sign his contract...
Weird scenario cant wait to find out why.

Haha showed up AFTER the funeral services were over though. Gute kept saying "personal reasons" too and not much past that. Hope Cole himself is ok.

Of course he came back AFTER but he still showed up... This has been going on since Cole was drafted... Which is why it leads me to believe he was injured.
