Yes, exactly. Look at the DC fight. Never gave a fuck about being taken down and due to DC's wrestling prowess that made for one of the easiest fights of DC's career. Similar would happen with Georges, but due to the size disparity it would be more work for Georges than it was for DC.
 
We will never know because GSP didn't want to fight Anderson when Anderson wanted to fight him.

Saying GSP would wrestlefuck Anderson because Chael did is like saying Barboza would drop Diaz with a punch because Mcgregor did and they're both strikers.

2 completely different styles. Chael knew he had to eat some shots to get inside and take Anderson down. GSP doesn't fight like fight like that.

Truth is, GSP's only chance to win a fight vs Silva would've been to hold him down for 5 rounds and survive.

He was too afraid to even try that, so just let it go, kids.

Silva knocks him out or submits him 99/100 times. This is why GSP never took the fight.

GSP might also outstrike Silva or drop him on the feet due to the immense takedown threat he would pose (Khabib vs Conor but GSP is a way better striker than Khabib)

Not saying it'd be easy for GSP, as he might take a few good shots from Anderson...but in the end GSP would 50-45 Anderson and make everyone wonder why they were so hyped for this.

Sadly GSP didn't believed it, if he would have really thought he had a chance with Silva he would have jumped into the fight as soon as the chance present, just like he did with Bisping

2.The same ole "he never moved up" argument. Not sure when you started to watch mma, but the UFC wasn't into the whole 2 division champion thing, they never offered GSP the fight until 1.Anderson Silva wasnt the champion.
2.GSP wasnt fighting anymore.

I mean AS was the longer reining champion, and he never moved up to fight Jon Jones, but would happily move up to fight Stephan Bonnar (honestly, were you interested in the Stephan Bonnar fight)

But again you wont ever hear a GSP fan call him out for ducking Jon Jones, even though there is a stronger case for it.

Then we also have to look at context.

To discredit GSP for facing Bisping, is ridiculous, when we look at

1. Where Bisping was in his career at the time(never lost post USADA, avenged 2 losses and beat AS) Bisping was easily at the height of his career.

2.That GSP had been inactive for 4 years, and suffered another ACL injury in that time, was moving up a weight class. No matter how butt hurt you are you cannot deny that it was more impressive than anything AS had accomplished or even attempted.

Especially when we look at who AS fights after a long layoff from his injury. A semi retired WW who has no wrestling. Not only that but AS then goes on to fail for steroids *multiple* times for that fight.

Anderson's double leg defense was always average at best, his single defense was great but GSP was far more of a reactive takedown artist than a single leg threat. Prime Alves weighed 200+lbs in the cage with better TDD than Anderson and still got mollywhooped from bell to bell, and even got dropped on the feet
