The fight wasn't super close. He lost.

He has lost before.

He was never a ppv draw and can only gain from fighting in another organization where he can be a real star.

The way the UFC disrespected him (and FlyW in general) and lack of money doesn't surprise me. He'll make more money in ONEFC.

Yeah except fan polling and media scores both show half thinking DJ won. So yeah it was close.
 
Id like to see Neil Magny versus Askren. That would be a good fight for both guys. Askren gets a good fighter with a good guard but has suspect defensive wrestling. Magny can show he can finally beat a takedown artist.
