Good figter. But he caught an overconfident Anderson who was on the downhill and then got some big name wins over fighters past their prime. Thank god time corrected this and history will show he was nothing but a good fighter. To think there was a time people in here thought he could beat Jones.

Bad timing, he fought Androstesone before USADA. Imagine if he fought Androstesone after USADA, he would have KO'd Androstesone in 1 round.

No amount of mental gymnastics will change the fact that Weidman is the superior fighter to Anderson.

Funny how weidmans down fall was after USADA

Well he beat Anderson with two fluke wins, and got overrated as hell from shertards for those two fluke wins.

Weidman was never a great product, just a overrated as hell great white hype product by shertards as usual.

I don’t remember anyone saying he could beat Jones

In fact people have always complained about him being lucky and getting fighters on the tail end of their career.

Jacare was a former Strikeforce MW champ.
Weidman was a former UFC MW champ.

So ofcourse Jacare won, was glad too. Fuck shills

People say this, but watch the second fight again. He was kicking Anderson’s ass before the fluke ending. He even knocked Anderson down in the first.

Why are you noobs acting like you know what sherdoggers thought back then? Some people thought he was great. Some picked him to win before the first fight. Most thought he was lucky. So, stfu

Silva was the product of a good timing, fighting in an extremely weak division for years.

Seeing Weidman KOd AGAIN makes me remember how close Machida was to being two division champ... Prime Machida KOs prime Weidman. Perhaps even current Machida KOs current Weidman.

How did Weidman beat Kelvin but then Kelvin got the title shot?

I watch the second fight plenty of times my friend.

In the first round of the second fight Weidman was getting his overrated ass whipped while he was on top of Anderson, how do you get beat up from a fighter on the bottom?

After the first round of the second fight, Weidman's face was all bloody and beat up and he was disoriented.

People seem to forget Weidman defended his title twice more after both Silva fights too.

Was he flukey in the first round of the rematch as well when he almost KOed Silva again? he dominated him in the opening round of the first fight as well landing some heavy GnP.

I think its more that Weidman was just very well suited for Silva and Machida, hustling strikers who didn't like fighting off of their backs. Against guys like Rockhold, Romero, Moose and Jacare were his takedowns aren't the same threat he looks a lot less impressive.

Weidman, along with many others, was a product of steroid abuse, not timing. It's about time all these cheaters got exposed.
