What's your reason?

I've never been drunk, only tried weed twice in tiny amounts.

Saw too many drunks drinks and stoners growing up and somehow avoided the peer pressure. Plus father was an alcoholic.

Good on you. I probably drink 10-15 bottles of beer a year. No drugs.
 
Been legitimately drunk more than a few times. A stint in the Marines will do that to you. Too old for it now, have a few drinks to get a buzz then I shut it down. Tried weed a few times in high school. Other than that nothing. Never was a big drug guy.
 
I've tried weed 3 times..but that's it.
When I was younger I went to some rave parties, and at my first one i saw some guy OD in front of me, anddd that was all I needed to see to know that I didn't need that shit in my body.
I also have a fear of dying in an embarrassing way, and being found in my underwear with white powder on my lips, and tranny porn rolling on my laptop ain't how I want to be remembered

I've never used any illegal substances. I have used alcohol but that was usually one day a week and seldom to excess. I've had several friends die in alcohol related collisions or get into trouble from alcohol use. I've had 4 beers in the last year.
 
Never been drunk and no drugs.
Never enjoyed the taste of alcohol and don't like the idea of being our of control.

No issues with others drinking or whatever. It's not from a moral stand point.
 
Never done drugs, never even smoke a cigarette. Drink weekly though.

What do you guys do in social situations where there's drinking?
 
Both of my grandfathers died from alcohol related diseases and both of my parents don't drink that often. Come to think of it, I don't think my dad drinks at all. They say that alcoholism skips a generation, but luckily for me, I'm not fond of depressants. Now on the flip side, I was however, terribly addicted to caffeine and take Vyvanse (salt amphetamines) for my ADD and chronic fatigue. I've never tried cocaine and never will. I'm also addicted to nicotine, which I consume through vaping.

Yep. I probably go to a handful of parties a year and drink 2-3 bottles and call it a night. My pancreatitis put a stop on my alcoholic ways when I was 23.

I quit smoking back in June of 2017 and went full on vaping. There are nights where you hang out with smokers and you just want to light one. Never relapsed though. Still using my wasp nano atomizer and aegis legend mod. What are you using?
 
I dont do drugs, I only tried weed but didn't like it one bit. I did smoke cigs for years but I quit and don't even miss it.

I stopped drinking years ago, there's an alcoholism history in my family and I was drinking way too much at the time so I decided to take a break for a while. I wasn't planning on not drinking anymore but once I stopped I really didn't feel the need for it anymore. I had my first beer in years this past NYE. I enjoyed tbh but I don't think I'll drink again.
 
I drink socially.

In middle school I cut my head open wrestling in the house one night and my dad took me to the ER for stitches. Nowadays there are separate little rooms but back then it was a big room with curtain partitions. My dad and I were sitting there when they rolled this kid into the space right across from us. Overdose and the kid was 16. I don't think they were 15 feet away from me. They worked on him maybe 5 minutes and the heart monitor flatlined, just like on TV. The doc pulled out some god-awful needle and it looked like he was going to put it in the kid's chest but a nurse finally noticed us sitting there and she pulled the curtain closed. After a minute the doc said that everyone witnessed he did all he could for the boy and all the machines went quiet. I was really shook up, but nothing ever affected my old man so I was embarrassed until I looked over at him. He was white as a sheet and his mouth was open just like mine. They brought the kid's mom in to identify the body and she was hysterical. This was all within like a 10 minute period. I had nightmares for weeks. So no, no drugs for me.

There have been moments when I relapsed and lighted a cigarette or two while hanging out with my friends. But this more common in Mexico than in the US, since vaping is still a novelty here. Most of my friends in the US who used to smoke have switched to vaping, so I don't feel the urge to smoke a cigarette when I'm hanging out with them.

I've got a bunch of mods: I have a Smok Procolor 220W, Smok T-Priv 3, Tesla, an old-ass Ego-C, a Kennedy mech mod, Vandy Vape Pulse BF Squonk Mod, iJoy Capo Squonk Mod (piece of shit), and a Wismec Luxotic BF Squonk Mod. There's a few others whose name I can't remember. The Wismec Luxotic is what I use mainly nowadays - it's portable, tastes like a mech mod, but I don't have to take off the lid to drip every 3-4 hits, and I don't have to deal with the stupid disposable coils for my Smok cartomizers.

And you know what's the funniest thing about this? I got into smoking cigarette through vaping. Never smoked a single cigarette before I bought my first e-cig kit, a fucking cheap, disposable Blu from 7-11 back in 2012.
 
I don't really like altered states. Social drinking would be an overstatement; I've been drunk like twice in my life and it never seemed as fun as it does on TV.

Might try edibles now that pot is legal, if they do anything for anxiety and insomnia.
 
I've smoke ciaggarettes, drank alcohol, smoked weed, done coke, ecstasy including mescaline based pills and some with ketamine probably and some other stuff, a little meth, acid, a lot of mushrooms, an assortment of pharmaceutical pills like pain pills and adderall and got drunk on ambien, cough syrup in large amounts

Never done heroin, never injected anything, haven't smoked meth or crack, haven't done some of the more rare drugs

My gf has never done anything like smoke a cigarette or drink a sip of alcohol which I find impressive

I would like to do DMT and some other drugs at some point but I don't really feel motivated to do drugs these days other than just a small amount of weed or drinking to get a little relaxation

I feel like I had some really therapeutic and helpful drug experiences but also some negative ones and abused some drugs like weed as a young person for sure, started smoking weed in middle school and kept it going for a solid 10 years or so
 
Drink but never been drunk. Never touch drugs because I can't stand dope heads do not want to end up like one.
