Isn’t it ironic how GSP only competed once under usada?

For someone who was always such an advocate for stricter drug testing. You’d think he would’ve been itching to compete the minute usada came around in 2015.

Instead, it took him another 2 years to get his training and diet/supplementing ready to compete under a level playing field.
Even his biggest fans deep down know why he only fought once during the USADA era.

ACL surgery surely delayed his return for at least a year or a year and a half , he started talks of returning in 2016 in a ywear which he also enrolled into USADA testing pool.
He has been out of stricter-drug testing pool for only a year and a half since 2013. Here goes your false narrative.......

Is it as suspect as little Johnny refusing to do additional testing?
Hendricks has never failed a test pre or post usada.

Are you accusing him of using PEDs, despite those facts^^?

We all love GSP, but nobody ever believed. What he said about the testing. One of the most jacked WWs/mws in ufc history.

The irony of this post is delicious.
The irony of you accusing fighters of using PEDs while trying to defend GSP from people accusing him of using PEDs is what's really delicious.

That's what they call a hypocrite.

He's a hypocrite, he accuses everyone of PEDs except GSP.

I don't even like GSP, but his haters sure do love revising history to spin a certain narrative.

Yeah shouts for strict testing and then goes running when he knows USADA will be introduced!

He pissed clean before Bisping, but likely got the benefits of all the years he didn't have to undergo USADA testing!

I obviously can only speculate, but i would be very surprised if he was clean

Here's the actual timeline:

2012
GSP started voluntarily submitting to additional drug testing since the Condit fight, he also talked about stepping away from MMA in the lead up to this fight (later reaffirmed by Zahabi).

2013
GSP steps away from MMA due to personal issues (he had a 2.5 year old son out of wedlock, which also lines up with his talk of stepping away from MMA before the Condit fight).

2014
GSP tore his left ACL during training and had to undergo surgery, which effectively sidelined him for a year.

2015
In May, GSP refused to return until a new drug testing was put in place.
In June, the UFC confirmed a partnership with USADA (also keep in mind, there was a 1 year, 6 month, and 19 day gap between GSP walking away from MMA and the confirmation of USADA, so attempting to connect those two events in order to insinuate that GSP retired because of USADA is a hilarious leap of logic).
In October, GSP said he was getting the itch to return.

2016
In March, GSP was reportedly in talks to return at UFC 200, which would explain why he showed up at UFC 196, but of course Diaz threw a wrench in that plan.
In April, GSP said the Reebok deal could make or break his return.
In September, GSP said that the new owners stopped returning his calls.
In October, GSP proclaimed that his contract had been terminated and that he was a free agent.
In November, GSP joins other fighters in starting an MMA Athletes Association.

GSP entered the USADA testing pool by the third quarter of 2016 (@-Dim- may have a more specific date):

2017
In February, GSP and the UFC finally come to terms and finalize a new contract.

In summary
  • GSP was injured for all of 2014.
  • In the first half of 2015, USADA wasn't in place, which was a requirement for GSP to return, and he subsequently expressed interest in returning after USADA was confirmed.
  • For all of 2016, GSP was negotiating a new contract and entered USADA's testing pool by the third quarter of the year.
  • In early 2017, GSP and the UFC finally agreed on a new contract.
  • Additionally, there was so much time between GSP's first retirement and the confirmation of USADA, that trying to say the latter was the cause for the former is absurd.
I mean the fact he said that it's still easy to cheat even with USADA has me suspicious. He probably took a couple years learning about USADA drug testing before returning to fight Bisping.
Victor Conte explained how one could cheat USADA on YouTube prior to GSP saying the same thing; instead of trying to insinuate that GSP is a cheater, couldn't it simply be that GSP watched the video himself or heard about it from a friend or fan?

What's ironic is that song's lyrics aren't ironic at all.

Moving on now from this lunacy. Bye Felicia.

He was planning retirement long before anyone said anything about USADA due to the amount of damage he was taking.

Something like 70% of all damage he had taken in his career was in his last 3 fights.

Yeah it’s called facing better competition

Not the usual natural lw n one dimensional average ww

Better competition like : Leites , Cote , Leben, Lutter , Chonan , Takase ? Or maybe face actually some of that competition (Bisping) who Silva couldnt defeat and then that competition be laabelled as "easy" ?
Not to mention he lost to the last 2 , 3 if you count the Okami loss in which Silva clearly cheated
Or maybe face better competition like Zuluzinho?

What a clown...

Bisping was a gatekeeper during Anderson title reign n could never get a title shot

He only became champ after Anderson reign n fluke ko win over chinny rockhold.

40 yeAr old Anderson still ko his ass during the fight, but herb messed up (like always)

But there’s a reason why gsp never made a move to mw n only did it when bisping was the champ.

He knew he would get stiffened by Anderson

Hendricks has never failed a test pre or post usada.

Are you accusing him of using PEDs, despite those facts^^?

It's called proof on a balance of probability.

The sharp decline in performance and appearance occurred after the introduction of 3rd party testing.

Then there's the refusal for any 3rd party testing in his bout vs GSP.

Where as GSP pushed for 3rd party testing, volunteered for it before it was even adopted by the UFC, never failed a test, and performed just as good if not better under USADA on his return.
