UFC 243 Whittaker vs Adesanya

I mean I favor Tuivasa but in no way do I trust him. I still see him as just a powerful guy who's not really that good. This price on a non-elite HW is a big no thanks from me. If anything I'll just play Spivak small.
Ufc elite probably not still I thought his fight against Ivanov showed a smart rounded game and a strong chin.
Spivak though didn't even last 1 minute in his UFC debut and attempted 0 strikes, I wouldn't touch that with a free play even at +500.

Still think Tai R1, R2 or his KO line have value, doubt he armbars the Ukrainian lol. That and I'd play against Sergey even if he was fighting the bottom of the UFC heavyweights. I've insulted his skills enough, just don't think he has had the experience to compete at this or even a Bellator level.

Like Raging Al NSC too. Think Hooker probably gets a decision but passing on him as a favorite. Al is tough as hell though and his wrestling should bolster his offense and defense well against the taller striker. Just don't see Hooker putting that dog down in only 3 rounds.

What is Khalid Taha chances? Bruno Silva looks like a beast and has plenty stoppages.

The tournaments give us something to bracket and follow and understand. The willy-nilly randomness of the UFC "rankings" is fun but essentially meaningless. If the UFC had a structured ladder system where we knew, give or take, what exactly happened when a guy like Costa beats Romero, it would make for much more compelling watching because even the low-tier shit fights could mean something. It would also give direction to fighters. As it is now, it's just drawing names from a hat pretty much. It's Hernandez being ranked higher than Makhachev; doesn't mean shit.
As a fan I wouldn't mind a little more structure. As a bettor though I don't hate the current style. They have to promote talent/future prospects so when they hand out gimme fights like Siyar v Naurdiev last week, personal opinion Tai v Spivak this week or Megan v who ever the other chick is it makes my reads alot easier. I love a good war but I like reads to look as one sided as possible if my units are on the line.
Guess Bellator still does it though, idk what can MVP took out last week, I knew it probably wouldn't be a long fight but his -1xxx line was garbage

Think the time is right to fade Whitaker. Back to back wars with Romero. The last one he arguably lost and was hurt multiple times in that fight.
He’s had multiple health issues and now hes dealing with a hungry lion who’s not only faster but is a better striker overall

Still digging into that one. Finishing up tape on Silva so forgive a little wiki/tap capping. Taha seems to be no stranger to finishes to as well, having finished 11 of his 13. Got really confused when the 185 pound Bruno Silva came up in my search though.
On to size Taha is listed as being 5'7" on tap compaired to Silva 5'3" still who knows how big these guys are. Taha has a few fights at 145 and I believe even a bout at LW. Silva seems to mainly have bouts between 125-135 I believe size is likely a factor. So far I like KT's rounded game and his grappling looked educated despite succumbing to better wrestling/IQ in his last lose, still being the bigger man may aid him tremendously.

What do you like about Silva, I love a good dog and I'm studying up on him atm

I haven't taped it, I literally googled his Sherdog but I too was bamboozled by the 185 Bruno Silva who I thought looked decent.

I suppose we will just have to see what happens Saturday and I certainly have no issue with losing bets.

Either way will be a great night.

I am not hating on the kid. I really like Izzy and he has a fun style to watch. I just think his hype is too much. Fighting against KG he just looked normal. He didn't look spectacular and maybe that was me putting too much expectation on him. To me that fight showed where Izzys ceiling is. He was fortunate to win that fight. Versus someone like Whittaker it is a close fight with 2 skilled guys. For me this fight is dog or pass either way. I am by no means saying Izzys sucks or anything - he is good. I was watching some of his old kickboxing fights and his slips and head movement are sick.

Bobby Knuckz is 28 and had 16 months to recover from the Romero fight. I would be catious in assuming a diminished version of Whittaker shows up. He is going to be hungry as ever headlining in front of his country, especially after having to pull out the day before the last time. Not sure I agree with Izzy being faster either.

Prime Silva would be -300 to -400 vs. Izzy in his current iteration.
Izzy would still give SIlva a lot of issues. Silva's always dependent on guys going forward and giving openings for him to counter, Izzy doesn't do that and will just use feints and until you give him openings instead. Prime Silva or not the fight with Izzy would likely go similarly with Izzy not playing Silva's game and using his length and kicks to rack up points.

Maybe still I'd advise caution on this one. Yoel missed weight in his last bout losing any chance at the 185 title.
Whittaker despite reduced risk and a close decision win fought like a dog for the full 25, kept his composure and in my opinion did enough to earn a draw at the very least. Though that ref clinch break up in r5 clearly favored the champ he never lost his defense and tried to earn his every position.
Also can't go hard against Stylebender as he is one of my fan favorites. I favor him from range but RW maybe better in the pocket or clinch/grappling range.

To your points though. Robert took alot of damage but at only 1 year off I think this may help rather than hinder the 28 y/o champ.
Izzy though has taken alot of damage as well. More recently too the look on his face after Kelvin showed it. As EvoDan pointed out he was also Ko'd stiff in kick boxing in 2017 (by a left hook RB also throws very well) when Robert was tearing up the division in his own right, including that first Yoel fight.

Can't say Izzy won't win in impressive fashion. Still I can't sleep on the younger, better tested, more rested Reaper and I'd be careful to call fade just yet.

Headed over to the casino after work. Will put up my slip when I get done.
The degen rage is boiling in me. Lost a lot of $ last 48 hours in poker. Need to make a parlay come through.

You’ve got better luck just dropping it on black or red bud

Israel eats prime Silva for lunch.
Maybe I think old school Silva could have given Izzy alot of problems with his leg kicks. Or at least due to whatever "pre workout" he was on then.
You have to remember the Spider inspired Stylebender in alot of ways he admits it himself. The kid gloves he kept on against the aged A. Silva proved that point as you can tell he wasn't chasing a finsh.
Who knows I doubt we've seen Izzys best yet and my units aside I hope we see a 5 round war this weekend.

The upload a file option may help. Though I usually use mobile and am not as familiar as most Sherbros

Not sure if you can see zoomed or clicking on it.
Did a lot of NFL games and gave myself points. #ONETIMEPLEASE
