McGregor calling Wrestlers/Grapplers Jock Sniffers but..

man, Im having too much of a laugh in this thread lol

English. Use your words. I know what you're saying though. Conor's mentality may be flawed too, but this is besides the point. He's criticising "crotch sniffers", and that's the subject. He isn't that. Whether or not Conor has the "bitch" mentality you're suggesting is an entirely different subject. And one I disagree with you on. The fact that he fights like he does (going after his opponent) is BECAUSE he has a lot of heart, and less fear than other fighters. His submission losses are just him going out on his shield after his risky plans fail. By criticising him you've just given him a backhanded compliment.
No need to correct people's English. Might be his/her/their second, third or nth language.

He isn't criticising a discipline. Wrestling is a skill, and one he's used occasionally in his fights. He's criticising the mindset that certain fighters have. Ones who game the system, relying on the existence of time limits and decisions to get their wins. Khabib will never be respected as a true fighter by true fight fans for this reason. It's the same reason Mike Tyson is so respected within boxing. He goes all out to finish his opponent legitimately. And as a result, is the most feared HW in boxing history, despite not being the best.

One of worst posts on sherdog.

pretty hard to get subbed when you are locked around your opponents waist, pinning them to the floor

Sounds like the person getting pinned better do something about it, then.

You wanna tissue buddy? That loss still haunt you?
was that when he was throwing all those punches that missed?

nice of you to find the 1 still that proves he doesnt always sniff balls. Just 90% of the time

easier said than done when there is a human blanket on top of you

That's the only way he beat Max no?
OT but I'd love to see Conor Max at LW.

Yet he avoids said safe fighters.
Disagree. Conor's never turned down a fight and is willing to fight anyone.

When he came to the UFC he wanted to go to LW but Shelby wanted him at FW. When Ogle got injured, Conor accepted Holloway without hesitation. When Miller got injured, Conor accepted Brandao without hesitation. When the UFC were willing to give Conor a title shot, he chose to fight again anyway just to stay active. When Aldo got pulled out (as Conor predicted), Conor didn't care about the opponent, despite serious injury. He was more than happy to fight either Chad or Frankie, regardless of their supposed stylistic advantages. After beating Aldo, Conor had the option of playing it safe by staying at featherweight for easy matchups, but he chose to take on RDA, who was on a crazy tear at the time and also looked like a stylistic nightmare. When RDA got injured, Conor didn't care who the opponent was. He left it to the UFC to negotiate with a list of potential opponents, including Aldo, Frankie, Cowboy, Diaz. He didn't care about giving Nate the weight advantage, either time. Again, he coulda stayed in his own sport, but he chose to challenge himself by fighting the best ever in a different sport. He chose to trust in his own by keeping the same coaches, rather than bringing in boxing specialists. After that Conor had the option to fight whomever he wanted, but he chose Khabib, regarded as literally the worst matchup in the division for him. Since that fight, has he asked for an easy fight, or has he been constantly calling out Khabib for a rematch? For this recent fight, again, he left it to the UFC to pick his opponent. Now, post-win, he has good style matchups for fight options like Masvidal, Gaethje, Poirier, Aldo, Diaz, but instead he's spoken of fighting Usman, and of course, Khabib again.

Your claim isn't just wrong but ridiculous. The opposite of what you say is true.

he was dominating Max on the feet until he tore his ACL, so took him down and continued dominating

Almost half of all UFC fights go to a decision. If you don’t understand, and appreciate grappling then mma isn’t the sport for you. You will be missed.
In response to the bolded, exactly. And that number includes the worst point fighters in the sport, all women fighters, and all lighter weight fighters. Yet Khabib has a worse record than that. Kinda proving Conor's point there.

I do appreciate grappling, and much prefer watching MMA to boxing or kickboxing. What I don't appreciate is a lack of offense, or fighters who fight to try and win decisions, rather than hurt their opponents. That you could even say "MMA isn't the sport for you" to a longtime MMA fan who loves the sport, shows that you don't even believe the shit you're saying. If I genuinely didn't like it then I wouldn't watch it.
