Stephen or Rogan, who do you side with?

It's hard to be disappointed when when you get a massive payday, even if you just got your ass kicked. But whatever, it's obvious that this is not really about Cowboy at all.
Cowboy is a trust fund baby, supposedly his family is pretty wealthy so it’s not like he really needed the money. What a disgrace, no pride or self respect.

It makes sense Sherdog would side with an outsider shitting on a fighter. Cerrone is one of the toughest guys in the UFC, he got fucked up in 10 seconds, got head kicked and finished.

Not all fighters behave like you’re describing though. Do you think every fighter would’ve covered up like that? Or put in a performance like that... AGAIN? Because there’s a clear pattern with Cowboy.
Not a Conor fan but Cowboy got cracked hard. Weve seen Donald get starched a few times... But RDA kicks hard and Justin hits hard. How many times has Donald NOT been starched? Like 90% of his fights? Donald is a slow starter but he is NOT a quitter, he's a goddamn warrior. You are confusing voluntary with involuntary

Stephen A Smith is a dumb bitch who should shut the fuck up

The question is, do you REALLY want all journalists/talking heads to shit on mma fighters like this forum does?
critics are welcome. If somebody was to put dana and the co in their place, the sport would have been in much better place today

Smith has an opinion, as ignorant as it is, it's not like it was unique considering how many fools here thought it was a fixed fight.

Smith didn't even say anything that outlandish. Hell, most of the casual fans (the market the UFC is trying to reach more of) probably share the same sentiment that they wish the fight had gone on longer and Cowboy had done a little more. That's not knocking Cowboy, either. If anything, it's a testament to how durable the guy is to believe he could recover from getting his bell rung so early.

Damn. Im proud of the sherdog folks. I too side with stephen.

Stephen, and I don't particularly care for him either.

Rogan sounds like a sensitive diva who got intimidated on a broadcasting level

Stephen A. Smith is an analyst; he’s supposed to have takes like this.

Rogan doesn’t know shit and is trying to gatekeep

Emphatically, he did not ruin any narrative, nor did he break any fourth wall or deliver a special hidden insight.

The man is a documented clown who has a history - going back years - of dropping horrible dilettante MMA insights which make it quite clear he has no insight into the sport beyond watching a couple of episodes of embedded.

His opinion is as valid as the drunk MMA fan that’s interviewed outside the stadium, but he presents and carries himself as an expert, and his self belief is unshakeable. He is an actor and a clown and he’s very dangerous for the sport of MMA. Excuse him if you want.

Well there is a good reason for that. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

He certainly sounded like he knew what he was watching, knew more than he was talking about than the apparent "experts" and "MMA fans" who seem to think fighters should be void of any criticism, and pushing back against fake narratives is a no no.....

Stehpen A is literally given millions and millions of dollars to commentate on sports exactly how he does....He brings shit tons of attention to sports no matter if you agree or disagree with what he's saying. He's really good for MMA....

MMA right now, is getting more attention simply because Stephen A was involved in commentating on a big fight. The story is not that Stephen A said something completely wrong, or stupid. He opinion was totally valid. The story is how a bunch a fucking giant babies in the MMA community are reacting to his take on the fight. They are actually arguing that there should be a different level of sensitivity towards their sport and you can't criticize someone for a bad performance. It's hilarious.

And the truth is that's not even why the attacks from Joe and the MMA media lapdogs are coming. It's coming because Stephen A completely ruined the fake narrative the UFC and Joe were trying to push about the fight. That this proved how incredible Conor is and we learned so much.

Well the very valid counter to that narrative is that Conor fought for 40 seconds against a past prime fighter who consistently folds in big fights and we didn't learn much......

And instead of just accepting that perfectly valid point of view, Joe and some of you reacted like total babies....

Stephen only speaks the truth
He might be the man that will bring down The Baldfathers empire
