White House Rejects Additional Pandemic Funding for CDC, Testing and Contact Tracing

It’s easy to ask for money but the government do not own this money. It comes from somewhere. How about these states get responsible and use the funding they’ve already been given more efficiently?

Also, at this stage it’s not so much about contact tracing as it is about protection of the vulnerable and social distancing. How do you contact trace a ‘protest’ of 5000 people?

With cell phone location information. The way other countries work is with an app. If you were within close proximity to someone that tests positive you get pinged. But Americans who alre already having all their cell data logged and sold think this is invasion of privacy

- Hiring of thousands of temporary contact tracers across the country
- Developing a centralized database to process information for 50 different states, each with their own system
- Additional testing sites
- Expanding lab capacity

This was supported by GOP by the way.
 
Trump trying hard again for that third world zhithole belt.

We need to get this virus under control, so we can go back to our normal lives. Oh, we have to put in some kind of effort? But we're Americans, the virus is supposed to bow to our greatness.
