Forgotten Notable MMA wins

Anderson Silva beat Hayato Sakurai in shooto way back 1999-2000ish
At that moment Sakurai was one of the most feared men in the sport

Machida had some weird and amazing matchups before the UFC run:
- Bonnar
- Rich Franklin
- McDonald
- Sam Greco
- BJ Penn

Those are some excellent fighters ranging from LW to HW!

This is crazy.. and weird. Lyoto is untouchable at one point though

Yep, 2003-2009 was the real Machida Era: 15-0 (5KO, 2Sub) against stellar competition, including 4 UFC champs!

Gerald Harris has a win over David Branch by slam KO. He also has 3 other KOs by slam in his career.

jon madsen had a nice run and was cut after 1 loss because they were trying to cut down on wrestlers at the time.

Melvin Manhoef was the first person to KO Mark Hunt and also has a KO win over Kazushi Sakuraba.

Sakuraba fought Marcus Silveira twice in one night

As the Reebok era comes to a close, could you name some (notable) wins of MMA fighters that were seem to be forgotten nowadays?

-NMF Wonderboy Thompson has a KO win over former MW champ Robert Whittaker, as well as the BMF Jorge Masvidal

-Henry Cejudo aka "Triple C" has made history and became one of the all time greats, but Joseph Benavidez actually has a win over him and beat him first before he became Triple C.

-Rumble Johnson is one of the scariest fighters in MMA and has some of the most vicious KO highlights ever. He's remembered being tapped out by DC, but DC's team mate and TUF 1 original Josh Koscheck already choked out Rumble at welterweight.

-With Lil Nog retiring, many might say that his wins in the UFC were unmemorable, but early on his career, he has wins over legends Dan Henderson, Alistair Overeem, and the great "Gracie killer" Kazushi Sakuraba.

-Michael "The Menace" Johnson might seem to be one of the most exciting yet inconsistent fighters in the UFC. He dropped down to 145 (and yes I know you'll never forget his win with the "GOAT" Artem Lobov) but came back at a now stacked LW division, people seem to forget that he has wins over: Tony Ferguson, knocked out Dustin Poirier, and gave Edson Barboza his 1st decision loss.

What do you have in mind?

Sound off.
