I can see why he didn’t though, he wanted to keep that sense of unbeatable aura fighting low level competition in a weight class above to try to keep up a rep. But even once he faced good competition at middleweight he lost straight away despite being juiced to the gills the whole time.

Shogun utterly destroyed him in the rematch. The first fight was a fluke.
And Rampage is mentally weak and inconsistent.
If they fought Forrest 10 times they would win 8 or 9.
Forrest is very average at best.

Gsp coming back to fight current champ Bisping (and he just beat silva) after significant lay off is way more respectable then Anderson fighting drugged up forrest in Brazil.

But the others were Silva being willing to accept a fight within 5 weeks, when the 10 week camp was already the norm. To save the card, frankly.
