I'm not sure about that. Being a "Prodigy" means you excelled at something with little or no prior experience but possessed a natural gift for it.

This still accurately describes BJ Penn, especially considering he got that nickname by going from someone who had never stepped foot in a BJJ gym to the first American World JJ Champion within 3 years.
 
If Bones moves to HW he'll need a new nick.

I’m pretty sure Wanderlei Silva does not murder people with axes
That is a common misunderstanding of his nickname. He doesn't murder people with an axe. In his previous job as a lumberjack his technique was so bad he was always breaking his axe. Here is a photo of the last time Wandy worked as a Lumberjack. He was let go that day as it was costing too much to keep making him new axe handles.
