If Jones hadn’t eye poked Glover do u think the result of the fight would’ve been the same?

That was a very blatant and dangerous eye poke and any intelligent person knows it was a game changer yet Jones got the win still! This is why the UFC cannot be taken seriously! What do u think because on the ground Glover is an extremely dangerous fight and on the feet he is good enough?

Jones has been allowed to Poke & Pulse into the greatest legend in his own mind.

No the outcome wouldn't have been the same. Same thing vs Rampage, DC, Rua, Machida, Gus, hell even Rashad Evans.

Everything goes out the window when an eyepoke hits. He's eyepoked literally every guy he's ever fought that mattered and got away with it.

You can see after some time during an eyepoke, fighters just over exaggerate most times to make their buddies and fan boys feel bad for them when it happens to them.

Jones sticking his hand out in your face to either eye poke you or threaten you with being eye poked if you try to close the distance is a huge part of his success.

Would he have lost some fights if he actually was penalized for it? I think so.

But they give him like 5 warnings and allow him at least one really good eye poke a fight so until they start actually doing something about them ... he will continue to do that.

No he tried against Santos and OSP.
Sticking your hand out is not trying. There is nothing wrong with sticking your hand out as long as it's done properly (which Jones didn't do until after glover). Anderson, Machida, the Diaz bros, Conor, Thompson and more do it all the time with out eye poking

Maybe Glover should have learned to defend that?

"Oh no, don't poke me in the eye!!"

Well, be the fist to poke, then.

at this point, it's like the "no holding and punching" rule in boxing. it is almost never penalized or even warned, even when it's absolutely blatant what the guy holding is doing.

i think DC recognized this and that's why he started doing his hands out eyepoke style too. he didn't do that before he fought Jones iirc.

Jones eye poked his way to glory. Back then he fought with his left hand out fingers extended and always looked to poke his opponents in the eye before he truly engaged in boxing range. He poked Glover 4 times, Gus 3 times, Cormier 3 times, and changed the outcomes of all those fights through his cheating behavior.

A professional fighter with the speed, accuracy, and reflexes of Jon Jones knows exactly how to eye poke and with his genetically super long arms and fingers he has a huge advantage in poking the enemy without threat of getting hit back. Jon Jones is a terrible cheater and should have be DQ'd a long time ago for it.

However, DC in the three Stipe fights tried to eye poke his own way to victory and it was only fitting that Stipe got him back at the end of round 2 in Fight 3 so bad as karma.

Another blatant eye poker cheater is Ponzinibbio in the WW division who eye poked his way to his last 7 wins and then dissapeared from the division in inactivity. (Good riddance to cheating rubbish)

You are so wrong. Jon Jones eye poked all contenders on purpose obviously. You can see him arms fully outstretched fingers pointing out, waving his arm around in circles trying to direct his fingers in his enemies eyes, every important fight he ever had, Gus, Glover, Cormier and he eye poked each 3-4 times a fight. Rewatch those fights buddy your memory is glitched.

Sorry are you implying that all eye pokes are the same?

This. I'm not sure it would've changed any results, but it was a major contributing factor in a lot of his fights. I wouldn't be surprised if he would've gotten some Ls in hindsight.
