Well "traditional media" being like social media run by the ultra rich and generally willing to bend what they report to suit their aims isnt exactly ideal either.

Really what I think you see is that the establishment is deliberately manufacturing partisan hatred, Biden or Trump really theres not going to be much difference in terms of fundamental policy. The partisan hatred between these two camps is just threater, a distraction from what those at the top really fear which is a significant move towards socialism and anti imperialism which could well damage the wealth and power of the elite significantly.

They know post 2008 especially increasing wealth inequality and poverty are creating anger and social instablity and they need to control that anger hence politics needs to become an ever more aggressive anegry sideshow but one in which nothing is really at stake,

Kind of a wierd poll result.

On 1 hand it claims 45% of Republicans support the protest on the other it says that only 56% of those that believe the election was stolen supported the protest.

That sounds like 90% of Republicans think the election was rigged; but if that where correct then 43% shouldn't oppose the protest.

Just wonky babbling on my part, but questions, questions....

They are profit driven companies and outrage sells. There is no escaping their influence on creating division. And that has nothing to do with Trump. And Trump was the only person to openly call it out. But not only will Biden NOT call it out. Neither side seems to want to do anything about it.

A lot of people are not happy with the direction the Democrats are taking this country. All you have to do is look at the lockdowns and how leftist riots were allowed. If we returned to normal, I think you'd see a lot of this go away. But the left no doubt has no intentions on ever returning to normal.
