What I saw from Tyson Fury tonight leads me to believe he would do very well in MMA and could potentially be a UFC champ. He 's the only boxer I can say that about.

Obviously he has the boxing skills and would be the best boxer in UFC history, but more importantly he has the grit and physicality of an mma fighter, which is something you rarely see from a boxer. What he did to Wilder tonight wasn't just boxing it was also grappling, dirty boxing, and mauling. The only thing Fury needs is some defensive wrestling. Honestly, he doesn't even need bjj. Guys like black beast and mark hunt had amazing careers with white belt level bjj. if fury learned how to defend doubles and singles he would never lose. His skill and talent are far above anything I see in the UFC heavyweight division at the moment

Tyson Fury couldn't win a street-fight against Gane or Ngannou let alone an MMA fight.

Gane knocks Fury unconscious via a head kick within 30 seconds of an MMA fight. It takes a long time to learn how to block kicks, you don't just walk into an octagon and naturally get your guard up. UFC fans don't appreciate how dangerous a man with Ganes skills are to the untrained.

Frank Ngannou Kimuras Fury permanently ending his career. Tyson would have five inches on Frank but both walk around at the same weight and Ngannou is vastly stronger. This would be a straight up mauling.

Deontay Wilder on the other hand, he would make a good MMA fighter but definitely not Tyson Fury.

Fury should stick to the crooked sport that is boxing that is where he belongs.

MMA is a different animal. Waay too many other disciplines involved than just boxing. Fury is a specialist with his hands. Just leave it at that.

I see a lot of MMA fans just found out about boxing lol . Honestly fuck both sides of this argument it's fucking stupid basement shit (and I'm a basement boi) . Let's just respect and be entertained by each fighter and athletes in their respective combat sports and leave it at that .

If Tyson Fury started young with MMA maybe? But I rather enjoy watching him as a boxer. I don't want to see a figure skater come to MMA.

If anything wilder style is more suited to MMA (this is assuming he had some grappling experience)

Wilder isn’t a traditionally gifted boxer, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing in MMA... the traditional boxing stances doesn’t work in MMA...

Wilder , can flatline anyone with a single shot, in any round ... he’s punches aren’t perfect, but when u throw so much heat it doesn’t matter ...

he doesn’t set all he’s punch’s up with trad boxing combos or jabs, ...but on occasions will headhunt which is similar to a LOT of MMA fighters..

He’s also a tough sob .. who would be a absolute monster in MMA gloves if he had well rounded game

Canelo may be able to beat Usman if he trains for 1 year with a top wrestling trainer.
