To me the jury is still out. I thought the Davis performance was pretty impressive considering Davis was on a winning streak and undefeated in Bellator but the performance the other day was definitely a bit alarming. I need to see him against one of the top guys before writing him off. Maybe Goiti/Shabliy next? Bendo maybe as well even though he's on a losing streak.

This would be the ideal fight but I dont see why Goiti would risk taking this fight now that he is on Bellator good graces again. Coker even talked about a potential titleshot.

Hell, even that little white dude with the subs who was on the Trigger card would be cool with me. Hoping for fucking Ubereem though. He's retiring soon, needs to get in that one last super mega horsemeat ultra KO combo on a NYE card, like he did Todd Duffey that one time. Surely Glory would let him fight, right? I guess the question is, will Japan even let him in? I'm willing to bet that the fights we already know about make up the entirety of the card, and omicron has put an end to any hopes of foreigners showing up.

Sigh...I suppose it doesn't matter, bc this is always my favorite show of the year, and I will end up staying up all hours of the night to watch whatever they give us anyway. Just a little disappointing that they'd promise foreigners and a huge event while it mainly looks like a standard RIZIN card, save the GP. Always next year, I guess.

Sigh...I suppose it doesn't matter, bc this is always my favorite show of the year, and I will end up staying up all hours of the night to watch whatever they give us anyway. Just a little disappointing that they'd promise foreigners and a huge event while it mainly looks like a standard RIZIN card, save the GP. Always next year, I guess.

They promised foreigners and said they had 10 booked for bouts and literally two days later the government said they are closing the country because off omri. Nothing Rizin could really do.

for the fighter introductions, they should film the foriegners picking up local girls, so the crowd is thirsty for blood..

matching up foreigners against local D-list celebreties and youtube personalites is a no brainer. I am pretty sure that there are enough foreigners in Japan's sports leagues (including Sumo) to create the best NYE card ever...this card is basically what DEEP would do if they wanted to do a NYE super show...

Who will watch this card? most people in Japan do not care about RIZIN, think it's spelt RAIZIN and view it just as another worthless martial arts show in a long line of such shows after PRIDE and other than Kai, Rena or Tenshin cannot name a single fighter...if RIZIN cannot do big names, they should at least try to make an entertaining and fun card to watch..
