Yesterday, I got banned from a reddit-sub for saying mask don't work and they shouldn't be mandatory. What was really funny was as I read through the that thread, I was like 'Wow, how come there hasn't been any "mask don't work and they shouldn't be mandatory" post? Guess I'll post it'. Whoops! Figured they basically ban any contrary opinions under the guises of misinformation.

I do want to say, I love this forum and the Mods aren't woke power junkies.

Think the best example would be Otto von Bismarck. He was no socialist. He co-opted many socialist ideas and used them to control the people via the govt. Bismarck had some similar approaches to socialism but upon further investigation they were applied differently and were fundamentally different.
Fascism is def a different and unique animal. Yes it’s similar to communism but has the nationalism difference you mentioned
Also the Prussian officer corps abs the Junkers are something that has no parallel in the USA at all and it makes any analogy difficult to make
