Sad thing is, at the end of the day, they are only hurting themselves. Men have experience with getting their asses kicked. We tend to be better in handling loneliness. I wouldnt trust meeting someone on a dating app unless it was just for a one night stand. Prior to the pandemic our company had been doing teleconferencing calls and there was one associate I thought was cute and we would have easy bantering online and the funny text exchanges. I was in a relationship so I didnt have any designs on hooking up with her in real life but she seemed like someone I would have connected with. I finally met her in real life several months later and she was physically attractive in real life but she was also annoying, talked non stop, grilled our server about how the food was cooked, shared way too much information about her bio functions and generally had those stalker vibes. If I meet someone like that in real life I tactfully disappear as quick as I can.
