Media Mexico's next UFC Champ fights on Saturday. Daniel Zellhuber

He thinks he's the Mexican Petr Yan.
Gives away the 1st round, then believes he can catch up in the later rounds.

Daniel Zellhuber is from Mexico City, 12-0 only 23 years old, strong chin, good talent, 82% finish rate, 7 KO's and a shit ton of potential. Also hes an unusually tall 6"1 Mexican that will be a huge lightweight. The Goof sees something in him and I do too. He can definitely make it far at lightweight and maybe even become champ.

The UFC just released a mini doc in lead up to Daniels fight on Saturday

Do you think this Mexican fighter has championship potential?

No.

His "fight instincts" are revealed to be novice now he's not fighting cans.

Clearly he's got some good skills and attributes but he has a huge amount to learn if he's going to become a contender.

He shat the bed tonight. Could be a valuable lesson for his young career.

Daniel must've been paid off by the bookies. How you gonna lose to the guy who was outstruck by goddamn Jordan Leavitt.

Anytime I see a person from Mexico or South America with a German last name

Another undefeated prospect hits 'the wall' again unfancied opposition.

Time to turn down the hype on fighters that have clearly had well-manicured résumés leading to the UFC.

Some of these kids ain't ready.

Go easy on him, only 23. We shouldn't write off fighters that easily. Especially lightweights. Charles Oliveira is a testament to that

Not like he got completely outclassed but Ogden was too big a step up for the kid tonight

Ogden is very complete, a grappling specialist but with really sound striking, and he’s been grinding in the gym for 20 years.

Kids tall and well built and cuts a lot of weight but has limited skills and he's still young but it's not like he is a novice with more than a handful of solid pro fights under his belt

Not writing him off at all. Just saying its a long journey he's got ahead of him and future success isn't a given for young talent.

Who was Mexico's first UFC champ? Don't they need to have a first before they have a "next"?
