I agree for the most part. Strickland wouldn't be able to have success grappling without getting some respect on the feet.

It still my contention that Strickland absolutely WAS going to shoot on pereira. Just because he didn’t do it in the first 3 mins doesn’t mean he wasn’t going too. Bruno stood with Alex for sometime before shooting. Strickland obviously just wasn’t expecting to get banged so quickly.
