News "Bloody Elbow" Was Sold and Their Entire Staff Was Laid Off

This is why the wayback machines work is so goddamm important. Don't know if they managed to archive BE a lot of sites have found a way to stop them but if they managed you can still read the articles.

When this society falls whatever comes next really need a seperate legal system to protect historical sources. Cause the idea that such a large treasure trust of historical sources can be stolen from future generations because some filthy capitalist bought the website is disturbing. Purchasing things comes with an obligation to care about their upkeep.
Are you a commie?

Why’d you have to ruin a very good point with a dig on capitalism while you yourself have admitted in the War Room that you’re a 30-year-something old man that lives with his parents?

It’s always society’s fault for something and straight up doom and gloom when you post, but there’s obviously some intellect to you so if you developed some critical self-reflection you might be able to get a decent job and afford your own place, and things might start kicking off in the right direction bud. In your hubris you blame capitalism for your own shortcomings because that’s way easier than looking in the mirror

rooting for ya

Although BE had some good articles over the years the dozen or so articles were far outweighed by the bizarredness baked in.

Dana or the UFC definitely bought it and will either let it slowly die or turn it into a propaganda disseminator.

I just use sherdog for the chat and Bjs site for the news

Smells like something Dana and the ufc would cook up...

Like i said many years ago on this very same site, the ufc move like the elite...they will whitewash something or revise history just to clean their footprints

And if im wrong, so be it..still doesnt change their monopolizing nature

it was bought by a two bit company in the UK.

They just fill websites with shit loads of money making trackers, and then fill it out with nothing articles for the traffic.

nowt to do with Dana

anything w/ Zane, Connor, or Phil was great. not to mention the in-depth coverage of the antitrust lawsuit. anyone celebrating this news is a bit of a bitch

Those guys are all experts in breaking down fights, the absolute best in the industry imo (an industry filled with frauds), hopefully they continue to do so in some other capacity.

I didn't care for many of Karim's takes but anyone celebrating the staff of BE losing their jobs is absolute scum.

The Wayback Machine doesn't work on any sites with paywalls or a log-in prompt.
BE never had a paywall or login

All the articles are there just fine. they were even posted about 10 posts up

If traffic is the goal, why would they delete all of the old controversial articles?

Surely you are replying to someone who is failing to correctly articulate that BE switched to a paywall model one year ago. Detailed articles would have a teaser on the website, and require a substack subscription to read the full piece.
