I dunno man. He gets on the mic after a decision win and says he’s not there to make highlights he’s there to stack wins and make the ufc. Ok great but from a fan entertainment perspective he had the most boring fight on the card. Is that what the ufc wants?
Worse, it’s devolved. This is in proportion to the declining interest snd $ distributed to fighters post-Conor and the emphasis on social media over substance.
I don’t want to see a rematch. But the fact is, now that Strickland has a name, the rematch would do way better numbers than the first fight. All the casuals I know only buy fights where they know both fighters.
