Just watched Muangthai v Yodphanomrung and had a few questions.
Did Muangthai change camps from PK. Saenchai? I didn’t recognize his corner and saw sponsorship/last name was new.
Also, is Yodphanomrung significantly bigger? It’s rare to see Muangthai get bodied in the clinch like that.
Working link to Saeksan v Panpayak for those who missed the links before they broke. Saeksan is a true honey badger. Complete gentleman after the fight though, panpayak too.
I don't see bad technique in that video. I see a style of punching that generates tons of power and snap without over rotating/sacrificing balance for the knees/kicks that will follow-up. These are just punches that you would never see in boxing.
If they were truly bad technique he wouldn't...
You are missing nuance in the training. Look at the face of his partners. Do you see painful expressions.? Look at the body language of his partners. Do you see them turning away from the power of the blows? The way he is throwing his punches are without follow through. The way he his...
Fine, assuming you are being serious, why do none of the Thais in the video seem upset with Saeksan?
Second, if his training is so bad, how does he beat the very best in his division?
You are criticizing non-issues and missing the point.
I'm hungry so I'll take the troll bait.
What the !$@# are you talking about?? Did his training partner look upset or hurt in any way? So then why are you getting upset about perfectly reasonable and playful training.
To everyone else, who cares how he looks in training. He beats the best...
Anyone know what's happened to Chalarm? He lost a couple high profile fights and I haven't seen him in months on Muay ties.
Of course my google search for news only brought up the equivalent of Thai shark week videos o_O
That Srisaet v Gonzalez fight was awesome! I rarely see two smaller guys get their heads together and in-fight like that for extended stretches.
I'm not getting the "Thai style" of boxing from Srisaket though. His stance and techniques were straight boxing. Heavy on the lead foot, slipping...
I should have taken over/under bets for how long it would take you to complain about that clip
I saw that clip and expected you to post this a few days earlier, haha.
I was loving superlek and panpayak. That fight was coca spank bank material. Not a brawl but technical porn with good volume. And damn! Superlek was able to get the last word on almost every exchange.
Blue might have messed up and actually gotten knocked out harder than he meant to.
From what I saw in the last minute blue stopped clinching properly to defend against elbows. He also stopped attacking in the clinch.
