Nintendo NINTENDO SWITCH Official Discussion v5: Breath of the Pokemon

It took me a while to realize how well the world in botw is crafted. There are lore and references to past games everywhere that are so subtle, you would miss them if you weren't looking for them. Also little subtle touches like the girl who goes to the cemetery and only cries about her mom's...

Nintendo NINTENDO SWITCH Official Discussion v5: Breath of the Pokemon

Guess it depends on what you are looking for in a game... it might just not be the type of game for you.

Are you off the great plateau yet? BotW also took me some time to get into, but once I did I was hooked. One of my favorite games ever.

    Valve Handheld: Steam Deck

Steam certainly can get converts if they play it right. I do think they are missing some key things if they want to eat into that market share: Size. For a hand-held portable solution, Steam Deck is absolutely huge. Switch has it beat there in terms of form factor and total portability. won't...

    Valve Handheld: Steam Deck

I don't think this is competition to Nintendo at all.

    So I said I wasn't excited, but I still pre-ordered the 512 GB version. I am such a tool

    Valve Handheld: Steam Deck

I LOVE portable gaming, but I just don't feel excited for this. I have used many portable PC gaming options (ex. GPDWIN, etc.) and the user experience and usability is just not there yet. Installing windows is one thing, but have you ever tried using windows without a mouse and keyboard? Kinda...

    Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate

Once you mess around with all the styles, then it will open up and get more interesting. I played aerial hammer and aerial switch axe for most of my playtime all the way through g-rank. Playing as a Palico can also be a nice break. The sheer number of weapons and armor sets can get intimidating.

    MONSTER HUNTER RISE Hypetrain

Farmed the paw tickets last night, now need to get the rest of the armor and skills, but I am close. Looks like it will be so fun to play.

    MONSTER HUNTER RISE Hypetrain

Overall I am enjoying Rise endgame more than base World endgame, if not simply for the fact that I don't have to farm the same 4 monsters for decos... (Which after 300+ hours in base world I NEVER got an attack decoration to drop...) Also, I feel more inclined to try other weapons which extends...

    MONSTER HUNTER RISE Hypetrain

I have been taking it slow and trying to avoid spoilers to discover the switch skills and final boss monsters on my own. Just unlocked the final switch skill for Hammer.... holy shit! My friend and I feel that this is now the greatest monster hunter game ever :D

    MONSTER HUNTER RISE Hypetrain

I have only played them multiplayer and they can be fun, but only in small doses. We we first encountered Apex Arzuros we were all yelling excitedly and it was a blast

Why have gamers become so entitled?

The Gametrailer guys left and started Easy Allies years ago. They still produce great stuff and you can tell they love games. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZrxXp1reP8E353rZsB3jaA

Nintendo NINTENDO SWITCH Official Discussion v5: Breath of the Pokemon

The direct was good for me as I am an RPG fan. I was already looking forward to seeing more info on Monster Hunter Rise Excited for: - Monster Hunter Rise - Mario Golf - Project Triangle Strategy (getting FF Tactics vibes) - Zelda Skyward Sword (never played it before) I may pick up those...
