An older, no the older. Puncuation matters sir :p
Max is an older fighter, he's a 16yr pro. 34 is also objectively old for lower weight classes. If Max was 22, I'd be worried in a different way but not because of 16yrs of damage accumulation as one of the worst variable.
That's not whats going on here. Its the opposite, we all have immense respect for Max but in this fight those attributes of his we respect so much - his toughness, his heart, his courage - that normally play in his favor might only lead to disaster.
This has all the hallmarks of the type of...
This fight legit worries me. It might be one of those fights that one guy ends up being too tough for his own good and takes the kind of beating that they are never the same guy going forward.
Gathje has already done that to one guy.
You never see pros going off the rails outside of the ring...
No fighters have ever said anything along the lines of "if I hadn't found X combat sports I'd either be dead or in jail."
To clarify by what I mean by all fighters are a bit (to a lot) crazy. Firstly, it's not an insult. You can be...
When was the last time you saw that point taken? It's a great investment to partially blind someone with the only punishment being maybe a point taken if you do it again.
The risk reward is skewed atm.
You are wrong. I know and have trained with 100s of pros. Some feel bad after the fact, but in a fight they are trying to hit you hard enough to kill you. They have to be that way, because that's what the other guy is doing. That's why if you lack that killer, you're probably not being a pro...
Sorry to break this to you dude, most pro-figters are crazy in some way and don't have a problem with seriously hurting people. If you have made it to the pros, you have overcome hesitation in hurting others. The guys that don't get past that hesitation usually don't get out of the amateurs.
If...
Yah. I have no idea what the OP means either. Any situation where I think it's possible to stomp on someone (foot stomps aside) it would make more sense to elbow or punch them because you could control position at the same time. Plus trying to stomp somebody sounds like a fantastic way to get...
Off to ignore you go. I can't be bothered with morons who don't want to learn. It's not my job to try to teach you basic shit when you are incapable of thinking.
I have, yes. With Goggles on. When my gym first started fighting nhb back in the 90s we had to testbed because we had only ever fought in 6-18 oz goves. So, we all tested crap out. Eyepokes wernt even illegal at the time in NHB (they quickly became so, because its a stupidly easy way to get an...
