Tee hee.
He had nothing to say as soon as Conor talked about the 'send me location' line.
1st he was complaining about being overlooked for the Alvarez fight. Then he did his call out at 205 and talked backstage how he didn't think Conor would fight him. Then he does the usual stuff Conor's...
I don't believe in the whole 'the fight can be won at the press conference' rah rah. But so many threads about how non-entertaining the press conference was, Conor embarrassed himself, didn't look himself, etc, and at the same time no mention of Nurmagomedov's performance.
I may be throwing a...
I agree with some of that. But take into consideration Conor is a cocky person - which I think we all know. The whole going from ape shit at the press conferences to looking calm and relaxed walking out to the cage is some what an ability (if that's the right word) in itself that I think a lot...
I would guess that Nurmagomedov was caught a bit off guard when Conor brought up his Oligarch sponsor being in jail for embezzlement. I think the next question after that was brought up was 'how do you (Nurmagomedov) respond to that?' to which Nurmagomedov said something like 'we expected this'...
Another one who is lying like @wilKO You Danes only eat Bacon and drink that Carlsberg piss.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to have my Beef saturated Guinness sandwich.
Then why don't you read up about the stuff you didn't understand?
I'm pretty sure - because of the Silva avatar - you post a lot of threads that are copied and pasted. I'm sure there's multiple explanations of what was being said.
I don't understand what people expect of press conferences...
Well, if they called themselves professional comedians I think you'd be bang on the money. It has to be hard on some level sitting close to someone you're going to fight and 'entertain' people at the same time.
I actually found the presser better without the fans. There was awkward silences, but at least you could hear what they were both saying (most of the time)
I'm pretty sure Nurmagomedov is still working with Lockhart's team - a lot of the fighters do - so I'm sure he's looking after himself better diet wise.
I don't think the weight cut will be an issue, but if he has a leg injury for example, and gets on the treadmill to lose the last few lbs...
Yeah, not sure. I'd imagine he'll say he's legally not allowed to talk about it - and whether that's true or not, he probably can't be bothered about getting into it concerning Chiesa or Namajunas.
I'm sure he'll contradict himself and mention Nurmagomedov staying on the bus or not being so...
Sure he has his own happy clappers. I think it was the 1st Embedded for the botched Ferguson fight when there's 15-20 fans all wearing identical shirts chanting his name at some signing or event he was at.
Though I'd bet it's Abdelaziz who organized that in some way.
Sure when he was in Brazil doing the Q&A and for the Aldo fight the crowd were against him. The back and forth will be between him and Nurmagomedov.
Nurmagomedov: "You are chicken who taps out"
Conor: "You're a pull out merchant who runs when you get an injury"
I reckon that will be the theme...
