Gilbert Burns is one of the only WW fighters that stands a chance against Usman in the clinch. When Usman gets the clinch, he seems to be almost apologizing to his opponent as he repeatedly scores points at will and threatens the takedown.
Absolutely, Masvidal had his chances but Usman's head movement has always been exceptional - he rarely if ever gets truly rocked. Next time maybe go for more uppercuts?
It's way overblown. Masvidal has often tried to fight with urgency throughout his career but that can be very tough when certain opponents were not always there to get hit. Usman's dominant wrestling may expose Masvidal's overall game unless he establishes a strong takedown defense.
Respect to Dana for keeping the show going but slightly disappointing UFC doesn't appear dedicated to make some potentially exciting fights including Jones.
