Both Melendez and Diaz turned down fights vs Khabib, the Cowboy fight didn’t happen due to injury in training camp. Eddie ducked Khabib for the money fight vs Connor. Khabib was scheduled to fight Halloway but the commission pulled the fight and wouldn’t sanction Max or Felder……

It’s a legit concern. I’m a huge Sak fan, but you can’t deny the fact he was naturally a couple weight classes above them.

In what way? They were a Clan out to prove their style of fighting was better than any other style in the World. If you looked just for a second behind the curtain you knew who they were. They were Gansters for sure!
The Gracie’s weren’t “MMA” fighters, they were style vs style fighters. That’s something that many people don’t remember. It was the advent of “rules” (that didn’t favor them or their style) than ran them out of the UFC.
but the answer is yes, they were really good!
Early UFC’s “Hella rigged”…… like setting Royce up against a 225lb destroyer with submission and grappling experience in the second round of UFC 1…….♂️
