I've used three different gloves, the "regular" or whatever standard CSI gloves that they have as community at my gym. These were kinda big on me but they were likely all stretched out due to continuous usage from guys with all sorts of different sized hands.
I had a pair of Windy's that fit...
Yeah we have one for kicking too.....unfortunately it was like my first week and I hadn't gotten the concept of "measuring" distance yet. First couple kicks hit right on the shin and felt fine....started getting a little more comfortable so I increased the power....bag started swaying a bit...
Never kick a canvas bag.
I made that mistake at my gym and went home with a bloody foot.
I've got a synthetic leather thai bag (durahide)....it's great.
Just tape them up till they heal (with a bandage between the wound and tape)
After they heal if you aren't rolling enough to develop callouses just tape up when you do roll. That what I did when I was training sporadically. Three or four times around each foot with the tape and I was mat...
I'd just like a large matted area (like 30' x 30')....but mats are so damn expensive.
Me and my wife are planning on having our next house custom built and I would love to build a metal framed shop on the property and have the above mentioned matted area as well as one of those Ringside four...

My theory on Garcia is that he's some sort of alien species sent to earth by his parents because their homeworld blew up......being made of magic is definitely...

The t-shirt rags worked out great...
I just bought from Ringside and got almost 50lbs worth of stuff (25lb medicine ball, 22+lb weighted vest) and it was only $10 shipping.
That's not too shabby.
That being said I wish either company(ringside and CSI) took orders from the other's catalog. I know their separate divisions...
I'm not waiting till i'm a purple that's for sure....I only want to fight amateur and I have a goal of fighting before I hit 30....and i sure as hell ain't getting a purple in 2.5 years.
the tops of my feet got tore up pretty badly the first month or so of BJJ....put neosporine on it when i was at home and then during class i'd put a bandage and then athletic tape so it would keep from rubbing off the scab and bleeding on the mat.
It healed after a couple weeks and I haven't...
