That's kinda my point. Seven rounds to five is a close fight. There weren't many rounds where the power shot advantage was by a wide margin. And how many jabs do you have to land to balance out one power shot? That's certainly debatable, but if we're talking about activity outside of power...

If your scoring criteria is based purely on significant blows landed this is a very close fight, but if you put any value in being the aggressor, punch quantity, and/or light scoring blows, it's a no-brainer for Golovkin.

I might rewatch once more as well. I think a lot more can be seen watching at a slower speed, but 50% might be too slow. Might lose some pop (or lack thereof) on the landed shots. In both 6 and 7, GGG presses forward the whole time and he throws way more punches, but he also misses a lot of them...

Rewatched the fight at 50% speed. Rounds 6 and 7 (one of the two rounds Byrd gave to GGG, oddly enough) are the swing rounds for me. If I give 'em both to Canelo it ends up being a draw. The rounds I gave to Canelo were 2, 5, 9 and 12. This match reminds me a lot of the first Ward-Kovalev fight...

Sorta just playing devil's advocate here, but if this drug only stays in your system for 24 (or 48 or whatever) hours, typically wouldn't be used as a standalone PED, and is taken orally, wouldn't it be the ideal drug to slip into one of Jon's meals or drinks for someone trying to sabotage him?

It was a low blow, though I don't believe it was in the balls. I think Floyd was hamming it up to sell the low blow to the ref. He didn't seem sincerely hurt to me.
