The President of the European Muaythai Federation Gennadiy Trukhanov said that Croatia has long deserved to be a host of such a big event with so many famous athletes coming from Croatia. Branko Cikatic who is the leader of the Croatian Muaythai Federation and the General Director of the Local Organising Committee will definitely attract thousands of spectators to the Gripe Arena to support all the participants of the event. We are happy to be part of this European Championships in Split and for all the Croatian citizens enjoy Europe's best athletes!
The European Championships in Split are the official qualifier for the World Games 2017 in Wroclaw, Poland. This is an extra incentive for athletes to show their skills and join those who already qualified for the Games in Poland.
