***2024 NBA Thread - Let The Games Begin***

1-3: Bird, LeBron, Jordan

4-10: Magic, Duncan, Shaq, Hakeem, Kareem, Dr. J, Oscar

I don't really count rings if I ever make lists of athletes. The eye test is really the best thing, I won't argue with anyone if they have Bird, Jordan or LeBron at 1 though.

Rings and accolades are a part of it but I agree the eye test is most critical. It's near impossible to put anyone above MJ, especially if it's eye test. I never saw hm give up, not care about defense etc. Complete and dominant player on both ends of the court and always wanted to be the person to go to when it mattered. LeCan's offensive output over a long period of time is his best attribute but it's not nearly enough when you consider everything else. Bird definitely deserves more appreciation. I don't have a problem with anyone putting him at 1 but I can't do it.

I would never have guessed Paul George would be 2. That is quite the surprise to me.

Just woke up and mildly surprised Clippers had their way with the Mavs. Will a road team get a single game 1?

2nd Qtr. sealed it, 8 points scored. Mavs outscored the Flerps in the 3rd and 4th Quarters but that 2nd quarter 8 killed them. At the least they came back and outscored the Flerps in the second half so maybe that will carry over. I haven't seen the Mavs shoot that bad since maybe about circa 2016. They were something like 9/39 from the field in the first half. Let that sink in lol.

They must be devastated, Kawhai out for game 1 and they lose. What a wasted opportunity.. ffs damnit.

I didnt even watch the game assuming the Pacers were gonna win this easily, wtf is happening

You know how insignificant a player is when your team can win playoff games without you.

Pfizer P bricking shots and Clips still win. Hell yeah. Defense stepped up and played with intensity. Refs wanted Mavs to win.

8 v 5 and Clips still won. Games will be closer and tougher as it progresses.

Need Kiwi back. If he doesn’t come back after game 2, Clips might be cooked.
