Rumored $750 million dollars on the line for the ufc to complete contract negotiated events.

So many questions, how is the amount per event ?

<{danawhoah}>,Makes sense to keep the show rolling if you are getting all them monies in return for other people doing the work for you

$750 ... lol.

Not talking about the title fail, anymore.

If people honestly don’t understand the money at stake here, they’re delusional. This is huge money. And the jobs of alot of people. In normal times they number in the thousands. If you’re remotely capable of seeing the whole picture. Not on every single fight. But every card added together along with every other sport and event these people usually work at.

Yeah huge contract. There are no others like that.

This is a bullshit take without any substance aimed a causing controversy about the UFC decision to keep the show going.

This pandemic is a special unique circumstance that no one could predict, ESPN could easily renegotiate the timeline of the events affected by the shutdown, just like they are gonna do with every other league they do business with.

Pretending like there aren't going to be exceptions in signed contracts due to the current circumstances is ridiculous, we are even seeing them with simple rent contracts.

Coronavirus conned the fertittas

Didn't they just give all their cash on hand to the investors. Right before the pandemic?<TheDonald>smart.

Disney stock nosedived in the past 2 months. This "disclosure" won't help.

yes it is all about money keeping the UFC running.

In australia the broadcasters are no longer paying some of the major sports due to not delivering the content. The broadcasting money is the lifeblood of big sport.

And how much of that will go to the fighters?
