Alot of fights get promo'd to shit and are sometimes a let down.
However, on the upside, what fight(s) have gone onto live up to their hype?
For me, the whole of the UFC 217 springs to mind. What a night that was.
But more specifically, for me; Jedrzejczyk vs Namajunas 1.
Jedrzejczyk was all set to tie Ronda's record and go onto cement her female MMA G.O.A.T status then BOOM!
Out of nowhere comes this timid, shy, little Rose in the form of a Thug and WALLOP! The upset of the year unfolds in the very first round.
Namajunas peaked at 9/1 to win that fight, in MMA fighting terms, I literally CANNOT even begin to explain how much of an underdog that made her. What an upset. What a fight. What a night. What a PPV!
