You keep mentioning randomness as if that hasn't always been a valid method of creation. The cut up technique with writing. The drip/splatter method with painting. Improv with acting. All sorts of examples of using randomness as a creative method.

And this AI generated art isn't even random. It relies on prompts.

But there is randomness to it. Unless I'm mistaken, one can enter the same prompt and get different images.

This is just a cool tool/toy. I don't necessarily consider any of as true 'art'. There are some artistic elements, but I think it is missing a few key ingredients; originality, cohesion, edification and level of difficulty.

I'm enjoying this thread and am loving the wacky pictures.
