Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira Hiding From Police After Assaulting Ex-Wife

Seems like only the WMMA fighters are able to keep their physical superiority in check.

is DV treated with seriously in Brazil?

Kind of, but we have some disgusting related to our criminal procedure and enforcement of the sentence:
its called "regime progression".
Oh, and no matter what kind of disgusting and macabre crimes you commit, you cant be incarcerated for more than 30 years here in Brazil.
You can thank fucking Foucault for that.

MMA will shut down after a few decades when more of this starts to happen

We need more Damian Maias and less robbie lawler and mike perrys

4ABCAD87-C9F7-436D-A2B4-07C87E431C0D.jpeg Cowboy actually saved his baby from his drug addict ex wife. She attacked him and his child while high with multiple knives and other sharp weapons. Cowboys mma training almost certainly saved the life of his child as he used it to fight off the relentless attack. His wife threatened to kill his child multiple times. Cowboy had to think quickly, not having a helmet for the baby and only a motorcycle as a form of transportation away from danger, he made a helmet out of a bowl and drove his baby to safety. This is a picture of the helmet he fashioned. God bless cowboy, he is a true hero!

Well that sucks. I hope she's alright, and hope this was just some one off thing for him.

Alcohol never solves problems, only causes new ones. Maybe thats why he had so many kids with so many women

Wait...

MMA fighters are subject to the same circumstances as other humans?

No way.

It happends, emotions get the best off us humans sometimes.

Shout out to #Warmachine.

....drove her motorcycle being drunk with his five-month-old son without a helmet....

fucking lol
Lmao. If he'd have just put that God damn helmet on him it would've been perfectly fine to drive him around while plastered.

Heres the google-translated story from that link in the tweet:

http://mmabrasil.com.br/alex-cowboy-e-procurado-pela-policia-apos-caso-de-violencia-domestica

One more occurrence of a professional fighter who commits domestic violence happened during the early hours of Saturday (24). This time, the case happened to the carioca Alex Cowboy , who assaulted his ex-wife in the city of Três Rios, where he lives, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

According to the G1 , the incident began when the 24-year-old former Cowboy companion went to the fighter's home for grandparents to see the child as young as 5 months old. Soon after, the fighter arrived drunk on the spot and demonstrated the desire to pilot his motorcycle holding the baby. The confusion began with the negative response of her mother, who was eventually beaten with hair-pulling and punching by Alex, who still broke some windows and the door of her parents' house.

The midfielder took his son to the force and left the bike place as promised - no helmet. Shortly thereafter, the child was dropped off at Alex's sister's home, which left the place still on the bike and was not found so far. Police are still looking for the whereabouts of the athlete.

Officers at the police station in the city of Três Rios also reported that Alex was involved in another mess during the night after leaving an alcoholic party and discussing with the local security, who complained at the police station about threats. In all, Alex was indicted for crimes of threat, injury and bodily injury.

This is Alex Cowboy's second police case in just six months. In December 2018 , he ended up involved in a mess by trying to break up a fight between members of his family on Christmas Eve. This one arrived in very accentuated proportions after a grenade was thrown towards the fighter, with shards of the explosive having hit him in the leg.

Inside the octagon, the Brazilian's stage was not very good. With two victories in his last five fights, and coming from two consecutive setbacks, the 31-year-old has always been known and acclaimed by the public for his charisma and simple manner, and has always delivered lively fights since arriving at the UFC in 2015.

If convicted by the court, the situation of the fighter before the UFC can be very complicated, since the organization dismissed fighters involved in similar cases in the past, like the Brazilian also Thiago Silva - although he often turns a blind eye to some more valued athletes. Until the publication of this article, however, the promotion has not yet pronounced on the case.

He must resent paying those favela baby mammas $150 a month or so.

I thought I read somewhere that Brazilian Cowboy has like 5 kids with 5 different women? If so that is extra crazy. Either way very entertaining fighter! Who could forget Yancy vs Cowboy!

Now I’m definitely happy Gunnar left this waste of skin a bloody mess.

Disgusting behavior. All professional MMA fighters should be role models. I wonder if this is a similar deal to what happened with the NFL and head injuries?

We don't know his side of the story. Would if dinner wasn't ready? Do you guys ever stop and think.
