Prosopagnosia. A good chunk of the population ignores faces and looks at secondary attributes like facial hair, hair color or style, or lack of. Accessories such as glasses, etc. These are people who don't see individuals, the moment they try to register a face, all they can think of is who the person "looks like". Well, guess what- THEY LOOK LIKE THEMSELVES.
