I saw about 10 minutes of American Werwolf when I was too young. After that all anyone had to do was say the word werewolf and I would go hide in my room so I wouldn't have to see that shit again.

I made the mistake of seeing In Paris as a young teenager and then avoided seeing this one since I thought the “sequel” was pretty bad.

In reality, this is an awesome movie. Landis was in the friggin zone in that era.

When you do please let me know! It has its humorous moments which nearly adds it as a dark comedy. But the wherevolfs are more scary than any other movie I've seen!

I'd say alot of what makes the film so great is the dark comic undertones of it with the dead friend and victims coming back to visit the lead character.

Odd that you mention this, I was just talking about this movie yesterday with my ex/gf whatever the fuck she is , she’s never seen it before.

This is one of saddest movie endings ever.

especially when you realize he jumped so they would shoot him, because he loved her too and she got through to David right at the end.

loved the way they did the facial expression change to notate that.

Werewolves are cool and I loved that movie. Seems like it’s THE werewolf movie, kind of the best it’s gonna get for that subject. Although I’d like to see a mid evil werewolf movie if there was one and it was well made.
