I got no problem with Mir but the guy spent a good part of his career bashing Fedor. After Fedor recent showings Mir probably thought he had this one in the bags

I feel the same. I don't like to kick fighters when they are down but Mir has been a total douche to Fedor for years. I saw an interview right before the fight where Mir smugly says he is better than Fedor standing, on the ground and if you put a Sambo Gi on him he would beat Fedor there also. He said Fedor has no where to hide. He came across really cocky, similar to how he did against Lesnar the second time. When guys act like that, I'm glad when they get their heads knocked off.
