He fought in the 1st Chechen war where he wiped out an entire Russian patrol in an ambush. Important to note that freestyle wrestling is not the historical wrestling sport in Sweden, Sweden have been good(/decent) at Greco-roman for over half a century (edit: a century I notice now when Googling). But still impressive.

He was already a really good wrestler, and then tried some judo and sambo combat since he always won his wrestling bouts anyway.
He started to train MMA kinda late at age 23, and now four years later at age 27 he's definitely learned some striking too.
