Are youngers versions of elite fighters better than their old self current?

And I remember arguying with a Dude here that used to be a much better Hw.

Is skill and experience enough to compensate for the better chin,cardio and speed they had prior in their career?

I'd agree on everything except Tony and Reem.

Tony's on his surgically repaired knee and taken a heap of damage, I'll take young Tony with healthy knees.

Young GSP would beat the shit out of the older, safer version. He would make and create openings, and likely finish the point fighter in 2.

Pre Serra GSP was 'only' 25 and had just beat Matt Hughes for the belt, that version was pretty damn good. Serra was at the end of run of Mayhem, Trigg, Sherk, BJ and Hughes.
I'm not sure maybe he'd draw with himself.

I agree he was very good pre-Serra 1 but peak Georges was against Fitch imho.
