Yeah seems fun, who plays in this arena football league? Is it NFL/CFL rejects or is it more specialised than that?

NFL rejects basically. Very few AFL players graduate to the NFL, but recent hall of fame quarterback Kurt Warner got his start in the AFL.

Why are there are only 5 teams now? The Jacksonville Sharks left and joined the NAL (National Arena League).

Yeah, lots of teams have either migrated to other leagues or went bust. It is hard to compete with other professional sports in the Spring. There isn't much room for niche sports. It's way cheaper than an MLB game though, so I'm down.

I can't believe the Orlando Predators folded. So much for the War On I-4 with the Storm.

So many AFL teams since the league started in 1988. So many went defunct.

I used to love watching it til my beloved Saber Cats folded a couple years back
Its a pretty damn exciting, action packed, high scoring, thrill ride of a game
The 50 Yard Indoor War!!
