Haven’t seen enough of him yet but from what I’ve seen so far I’d say he’d be close to top 5 a couple of years ago but I think he’d get quite easily beaten by the best.
He would get wrecked by
Prime Cain
Prime DC
Prime JDS
Prime Reem
Prime Werdum
Aspinall has the footwork to get JDS against the fence and blast him when he tries to get away. DC gets rocked and recovers fast.Although Aspinal is still fairly untested it's an interesting comparison.
For example. Gus had DC seeing birds and took him to a split decision. Since Aspinal is bigger with one punch ko power, speed and better groundgame I see him fairly easily beating DC at that time. Aspinal's most difficult fight would be against someone like prime Dos Santos who moves really well with one punch ko lighting fast hands. Of course he would have real problem with the likes of Cain, Verdum etc. But judging from what I have seen so far it looks like he could've been competitive.
Where is all this Aspinal hype coming from? One eye Bisping?Aspinals best wins: Pavlovich, Volkov, Tybura and ancient Arlovski.

Neanderthal via functional strength…Tom would be toast.Meh.
What about Aspinall vs. HW's of 10 THOUSAND years ago!? Tom vs. Neanderthal!!
Also, what about Tom vs. HW's of ten years from NOW?
And HW's from another dimension of time and space?
And Tom vs. OVERCOOKED NOODLES!!!
Gustafsson at that point arguably outstruck Prime Jones, not to mention the fact that DC was taking years off of his life to make LHW. I doubt he has those same durability flaws in his prime at HW. I want to know who Aspinall has beaten on the ground better than Mir and Barnett. And I want to know what evidence we have to suggest he could stop DC's takedowns? Like maybe a similarly skilled opponent in the wrestling who wasn't able to get him down?Although Aspinal is still fairly untested it's an interesting comparison.

Rate Aspinall’s skill level. How would he do against the HWs from the early 2010s decade?
- Cain
- DC
- JDS
- Carwin
- Brock
- Overeem
- Werdum
Carwin would fucking shadow realm him
What you guys smoking, he's the dollar tree version of Overeem at best.
Are you stll this salty that Jon beat the piss out of both the guys in your av?If Dana tells me "promote my current champion always" then I will say the sport has evolved and Tom destroys everyone from all time.
But if Dana tells me "promote the guy I am glomming onto for GOAT now" then Jon, who hasn't been in his prime for years and is from a previous decade, destroys Tom today with ease any day of the week.
Am I doing it right, PR accounts? Which one is correct now? @markg171 please advise which talking point I should parrot
