Bellator 167 - Caldwell vs Taimanglo II - Oklahoma

yea, caldwell was 100% up 2 rounds to none. but joe was hanging in there the whole time, didn't lose his confidence. definitely a mistake by caldwell, but i still think the line for the rematch is a bit nuts.

Round Robin-Six parlays at $25.00 each:
Chidi Njokuani/Andre Fialho Over 1½ (-115) + Emily Ducote/Ilima-Lei MacFarlane Over 2½ (-180) + Justin Lawrence/John Teixeira Over 2½ (-200) + Darrion Caldwell/Joe Taimanglo Over 2½ (+100) $150.00 for $297.41

Caldwell dec +160. Would like a little better price, but I think this is gonna cash. Caldwell is the more skilled guy, he was winning the last fight until he handed Joe his neck (which was awesome, I was on Joe at huge dog odds). I think Caldwell is gonna be very conservative and will be fine with winning a decision. And Joe is insanely hard to finish. Gonna play this prop for a little.

goes 3 rounds is +140, alternatively

I just put a tiny bet on Joe dec at +1800 so I'm covered for that scenario too.

.85u Caldwell dec +160
.15u Joe dec +1800

Works out pretty close to just playing fight goes distance I guess. It's actually better for me if Joe wins a dec LOL.

Lol. I fucked not making Chidi moneyline my main play when it went to dog odds. Ridiculous fight

2 sub attempts for Joe and some good work from bottom... potentially him R2

Goes the distance $$$

Now just hope they give it to Darrion for the one time I was dumb and hit Darrion instead of goes distance

Not quite enough...

Still loving my bet on Joe at +600... these guys are fairly even

judges sucked here, too.

ducote, the local girl... drops macfarlane and mounts her in the first, macfarlane hugged a bit between that ... and somehow one idiot judge gave macfarlane the round. rd 3 was competitive, too. +3.5 losing is a joke.

njokuani-fialho... ummm, ok then. fialho went down to the first jab njok threw. sheesh.

teixera was awesome. should've made more on this fight, frankly. was the best he's ever looked. felt kinda fortunate that he didn't get the KO, lawrence was running for his life and his leg was screwed.

caldwell 30-27 x3 = lmao. no. he was in total survival mode all of round 3. he was gassed as hell after 9 mins. it didn't affect me, but i feel bad for anyone who played taimanglo +3.5 at +3xx... he won that round. caldwell has NO chance vs dantas with that gastank. he better figure that out.

no regrets on the taimanglo NSC play, he was only one with chance for a finish.. but man, caldwell dec +160 etc was freakin gold.

Successfully avoided spoilers and finally caught up with this. Unlike last week I can't get the prelim stream to play on the Bellator web site in multiple browsers and on multiple computers, although they did show some highlights on Spike TV. Was very surprised to see Fialho knocked out with a jab by Njokuani. Emily Ducote should have gotten that first round on all three cards and the point spread bet should have won. Texeira looked great, Lawrence looked very mediocre. And Taimanglo put in a game performance that fell short as most expected. Somehow one of my losing bets got misgraded as a win- at least to this point- but I'll just call this a -1.68 unit loss as it should be.
