Pico seems stubborn to be the best pure wrestler and pure boxer possible.

Pico seems to not know how to properly dirty box and fight in those typical MMA positions and it makes for these weird fights where he just spams hooks or wrestling against over matched opponents.
 
Gonzalez might have organ damage at this point.

Gonzalez's best path to victory is via submission. Pico's team scouted him & have advised Pico accordingly.
