He actually came out and said he was really disapointed in himself for fighting safe like that and vowed to never fight like that again and he really wasn't in a boring fight after that going 9-5 after in MMA after that first Serra fight.

He also retired on a win. At the highest level. Then came out of retirement 6 and half years later and went 3-0 in bare knuckle. Legend.

some pretty weak stoppages thought they realize really quickly that getting hit bare knuckle sucks and they give up.
