BKFC Prospect series live discussion thread 8pm EST

Calmus might be gassing. So Ogre still in this

Edit: maybe not

Edit2: Borken hand?

Freeman looks in disbelief that his best shot was just casually eaten.
That must be a demoralizing feeling.
Not that I'd know, I have the touch of death
<HisEye>
Broke his hand on his dome and didn't even phase him.

Trying to post images tonight isn’t like it normally is for me. It’s weird.

He isn't wrong about that though.
That has to be the smallest ring in combat sports, no? Not counting gimmicks like phone booth fighting or car jiu jitsu.
he also said they have two different size rings just like the UFC has two cages. It all just depends on the size of the venue. I don't imagine this is in a very big arena so the small ring makes more sense. UFC used to use the small cage for events at the Palms casino and those small venues but they do those all at the Apex now so that's the only time it's used. BKFC uses the same reasoning.

It says WEC but that is the size of the small cage

The Apex is the smaller octagon too, right?

Edit: It does, "The Apex features the 25-foot wide Octagon variant typically used for smaller events and venues, as opposed to the standard 30-foot wide version."

I remember there used to be active discussion on which fighter would have the advantage in a fight depending on which octagon was chosen, with the grappler being favored in the larger ring.
Personally, I think the 25' cage is perfect, but the main issue?
Less advertisers fit
I won't be surprised if the UFC eventually makes a 35' Octagon (perhaps for the sphere show) just to ram in more advertisers.

The small cage would look silly in a big venue and the big cage won't fit in a small venue.

Blue gloves and red trunks. Terril with his chin high. Hope he gets smoked

I just love BKFC pacing. This is the 10th fight and the card started at 5pm PST
